When "de" is used as a prefix, the meaning is inverted: decreasing, deconstructing, decolonizing.... (De) represents this same spirit of opposition and inversion...
(De), short for (De) Conceptualise is the Rotterdam-based graphic subversion project of Portuguese multidisciplinary artist and designer Pedro Gil Farias.
With a penchant for #DIY and more raw and amateur techniques, (De) uses collage, scans, glue and of course screen printing to give shape to analog thoughts in an increasingly binary world.
(De) Conceptualise was one of the illustrious participants of the 7th edition of the Give Print a Chance, Barcelona Screenprint Market. So we met him in person and he gave us this small sample of his talent in the form of super limited edition silkscreen prints that we have had the pleasure of adding to our catalog for you.
