It is said, it is told, that on a small island in the Atlantic there is a great refuge for lovers of screen printing. It is called La Platanera, it is located in A Illa de Arousa and it was created with a lot of tenacity and affection by Andrea Fernandez. A real creative workshop and meeting place around artistic screen printing. Made for people who wake up every day thinking that they still have something to tell, to discover, to give and above all that they want to do it. "A workshop for people with desire" as Andrea says, who also finds time to organise her now essential Banana Residencies every summer.
La Platanera is one of the artists you will hopefully be able to meet in person during Give Print a Chance. Our Christmas market dedicated to screen printing.
